Some think Korean also had excellent traditional sword/spear arts like Japanese or Chinese. They truely believe that every country must had their own sword arts. But historical Korean documents unmercifully pointed out thier belief is not true.

[Annals of the Chosun Dynasty Seonjo] 25th Year from Seonjo reign (1592) 10th Month 13rd Day
There was no swordman in our country at all.
[Annals of the Chosun Dynasty Seonjo] 27th Year from Seonjo reign (1594) 7th Month 11th Day
There has been not descendent any sword swordplay from acient time in our country.
Korean Official Record totally admit that there was no sword arts and spear arts in Korea. I feel sorry for someone who are beguiled by Korean arts.
