1.1.Hyoujinsama、結局脱退

最後までぐずっていたHyoujinsamaもついに忍耐術からの脱退を正式に宣言した。

「私はもと居た所に戻ります。鹿島神道流、川上スギオ」

おまえ、スギオだったのか･･･!？

この際、彼が“ダメージド”の概念を大きく覆すズダボロのジーパンをはいていることや、鹿島神道流をカワシマ神道流と間違えてしまったことなどおいておこう。

重要なのは彼の名前だ。Kevinゆーてたやないか…。それがお前、「スギオ」って･･･。

1.2.スコットさん動画はいまや脱退者のたまり場状態

スコットさんは、脱退したインストラクターに対するチョニンのつれない仕打ち指摘する動画を次々アップ。
チョニンは自分の過去動画の中から、ShinobiMysticの武術を誉めた動画を削除したり、BlackDragonForgeを宣伝するセリフをカットしたようだ。
コレに対してBlackDragonForgeのAdamはぶち切れ、スコットさんの動画にチョニンの悪口を長々と書き込んでいる。(3.アダムの愚痴 を参照)

スコットさんは、Hyoujinsama正式脱退に寄せた動画のディスクリプションで気になる指摘もしている。

ヒョウジンサマがグレッグの元を去り、基本的にグループには誰も残っていません。(略) グレッグはここ1週間近く動画を作っていません。

確かにチョニンはここ4日間新作動画をアップしていないようだ。そして、この沈黙はもうすぐ5日目に突入しようとしている。なお、これまでチョニンが活動してきた2年間で、5日以上動画を上げなかった事例は過去にわずか3回しかない。

もちろんこのままフェードアウトするような輩ではないことは言うまでもないが、奴がかなりのダメージを受けていることは確かのようである。この沈黙期間が、まさか“国技発動”に向けた準備期間でないことを祈るばかりだ。

1.3.残りインストラクター数は？

忍耐術のインストラクターはもう残っていないのか？という話題がスコットさん動画のコメント欄で繰り広げられている。面白いのでちょっと訳してみた。

I know, it is ridiculous the way that Greg is acting toward us, very petty. As for his sword technique... I'm gravely concerned about the 'slip draws' he is teaching, someone who doesn't know what they are doing could easily cut themselves, or drop the blade and cut/impale their foot, etc. while practicing. Things like that are not safe to 'teach' on YouTube. I hope that Kevin does decide to leave too, I've not spoken much with him, but he seems to be a good guy, and would progress if he left.

I was going to stay neutral in this until I was attacked, by him getting pissy and pulling his endorsement of my forge. Petty b.s. I'm glad that I never showed him any heat treating methods for shuriken, HA! He'd have kids burning their houses down trying to harden the cheap steel he is using. That still burns me that he tried to "kiss up" by throwing in his short lived plug for me on that home made shuriken video. Guess he figured out that he ticked me off and that was his way of trying to keep

me with him. Bah! I tried to comment on the video where Dean showed his pulling of the plug for me, and that it makes me that much happier that I left. It was juvenile and petty, and I have no time for a 'friend' that is going to act like that. I should have left long ago when all this crap started. Now I'm sure he is going to try and say that I used him for advertising. He volunteered, and got about $300 worth of shuriken out of it (that he gave away to his students I was told later).

I'll chalk it up to experience, and that I have learned to look long and hard at a situation overall before I make another choice like that again, choosing to be his friend, choosing to support him, accepting the 'assistant instructor' title he bestowed on me without my asking, etc. I am glad to be rid of him and the situation, and here to lend my expertise and resources to fellow REAL martial artists. If I had some plum wine right now I'd toast to all of your health! Ganbei!
